This week Torah's portion, Shoftim, it is studied during the new moon of Virgo kicking off the 40 day period that leads into Rosh Hashanah, when the gates for cleansing the past and drawing unlimited blessing stand open. Eitan explains that the core of our spiritual work is about learning to catch and pause the illusionary movies in our minds constantly generate fears and erroneous perceptions about ourselves. Also recognizing that every act of judging others or ourselves is rooted in lies that separate us from the Creator. It is our job this month of Elul or Virgo to identify and transform our negative behavior and perceptions by staying in our own lane.
