In this fun and heartfelt class by Yehudit, she inspires children to discover that sometimes we hold onto feelings like anger, sadness, jealousy, fear, or frustrating thoughts that hide our true Light. Through a creative process of layering colors and free painting, children explore what happens when we let go of what no longer helps us feel good.
Children are inspired to create a vibrant and abstract painting of a butterfly, adding thoughts or feelings they want to release. As they cover them with white paint, a beautiful butterfly will slowly emerge, symbolizing each kid's inner potential and amazing soul they are within.
Remember to print out the Butterfly template attached to this lesson.
This experience invites children (ages 5–10) and their parents into meaningful moments of connection through short, engaging sessions that fit naturally into everyday life. Each session pairs a simple yet powerful spiritual idea with a hands-on art activity, transforming learning into a creative experience of imagination and intention. Whether participating together or allowing children to explore independently, each session creates space for connection, conversation, and creativity. Featuring a range of universal themes drawn from the teachings of Kabbalah, this meaningful course also includes sessions aligned with holidays. Each experience is crafted to spark curiosity, invite reflection, and bring spirituality to life in a way children can genuinely connect with.
