Lesson Highlights

  • There are certain factors that determine negative or positive days
    • Sundays are usually positive days
    • Mondays are the second day and are usually negative days
    • Tuesdays are positive days
  • The first part of the month is usually positive than the second part
  • Leo, Cancer and Capricorn = are not the ideal months to make decisions
  • Recommended books to learn about the holidays:
    • Days of Power
    • App Kabbalistic Calendar
  • The Kabbalistic Calendar contains months of 29 or 30 days long, so it doesn’t correlate to the Gregorian calendar
  • Rosh Chodesh or new moon is the most positive day of the month (it could be 1 or 2 days)
  • Also, the eve of the new moon (28 or 29 of the month) is a highly positive day
  • The new moon is great for planting seeds and taking new initiatives
  • The full moon is also one of the most powerful days of the month, and it is considered a kabbalistic holiday
  •  The moon represents humans and the sun represents the Light
  • The hilulah or anniversary of the elevation of righteous souls is a positive day to call upon their support for our transformation

Lesson Description

The Kabbalistic Calendar is based on the moon, and determines negative and positive days. In this video, Elisheva Balas explains certain criteria contained in this helpful tool, that provides some guidance on the new moon, the full moon, the Zohar portion of the week, and the  anniversary of elevation of the kabbalists.

About This Course

The study of Kabbalah offers us a wealth of knowledge, but how this translates to daily life can be a mystery. This course is designed specifically to help students apply kabbalistic wisdom on a practical, everyday level. Go beyond a basic understanding, and put kabbalistic tools and concepts to use! During each experiential class, students will discover how to use practical tools such as the Red String, connecting to the righteous, practicing tithing, and drawing protection. It's one thing to learn the wisdom of Kabbalah; it's quite another to use it. This “How-To” series will help you do both.
