Lesson Highlights

  • We judge ourselves from a lacking perception
  • Words and labels carry only the meaning we give them
  • Change by subtraction, not addition
  • Self-acceptance is crucial for our process of transformation
  • From a loving place, we can see what needs to be changed
  • Silence reveals the voice of the Light
  • Eliminating the mental chatter lets us hear our own essence
  • Staying connected to the Creator at all times

Lesson Description

On the first day of Rosh Hashanah, Monica asks the most important question:  Do we see ourselves as the Creator sees us? And explains that quite often we mistake the labels we carry and a passing stage we go through for our identity. Real change does not come from adding more, it comes from subtracting the shame, the guilt, and the constant mental noise that hide who we already are within.

About This Course

According to the kabbalists, the holiday of Rosh Hashanah is a window in time when we can transcend space and time to remove judgments from ourselves. Each of our personal movie scripts for the entire upcoming year is determined by our connection to the Light available on Rosh Hashanah. This Light empowers us to change our destiny and draw peace, harmony, and well-being for all of humanity. Together, as a united force, fortified with consciousness and a shofar, we can create change. As it is one of the most powerful days of the year, Kabbalah Centres around the world host connections to the Light available during Rosh Hashanah. We invite you to come together with your Kabbalah Centre community, in prayer and unity, as we channel the rejuvenating energy of Rosh Hashanah.
