Lesson Highlights

  • Awakening the fire of desire within ourselves
  • The attributes of the Sefirah Gevurah: strength, courage, liveliness, desire, energy of fire, motivation, drive, vision and desire for fulfillment
  • Sharing without desire doesn’t accomplish anything
  • Understanding the benefits of healthy competition (and pressure) that help us become better individuals
  • Desiring to be in a team that respects each other’s values and differences in an environment of kindness
  • Gevurah also means having boundaries that allow the energy to grow, saying no, taking charge and setting limits
  • Putting boundaries to create circuitry
  • Allowing people to come to us helps balance the circuitry of energy
  • Isaac is the chariot of Gevurah
  • Gevurah's energy also means saying no to children and others when it is healthier
  • Gevurah is also healthy confrontation
  • When feeling unhealthy fire that is internal anger, self-judgement when lacking Gevurah or not setting up boundaries
  • Faking and pretending causes unhealthy desire and Gevurah
  • Being kind and loving when applying the energy of Gevurah

Lesson Description

Eitan explains that while the Sefirah Chesed is the energy of goal and purpose for sharing without goals, the Sefirah Gevurah is its counterpart, as it comes from the expression of strength and courage. Here we learn, practical ways of applying the energy of the Gevurah in our personal experience while injecting it also in our role as leaders.

About This Course

10 week course, New lesson added weekly | When, as we learn in our study of Kabbalah, we strive to reach a similarity of form with the Creator, we attract more Light into our lives. These understandings and tools empower us to ascend as leaders in every area of our lives, from our family and friends to our careers and communities. Drawing from the individual attributes of each Sefira, each class will bring us closer to our greatest potential and fulfillment, to the lineage of the great kabbalists, and to emulating the Creator (the original leader) in everything that we do.
