Tu b'Av: A Cosmic Union

Something special happens in the month of Av. As the Rav explained, Tu b’Av is the only day of the year where the sun and the moon are equally dominant in the universe. The Zohar tells us that the harmony between the sun and the moon will take place during the time of redemption, where the sun (which represents Zeir Anpin, or the Light) and the moon (which represents Malchut, or humanity) are both complete and connected. This cosmic balance gives us the opportunity to connect to our complete, perfected selves – our best version that has fulfilled our potential. Join us for a profound connection as we seek to draw the energy put forth by the union of the sun and the moon, see our fully realized potential, and enhance our relationship with the Light of the Creator.

Agenda

This year we will celebrate Tu B’Av during a Shabbat dinner in a cocktail-style setting, where we will share consciousness about this day and engage in very interesting and powerful activities that will give us the opportunity to better understand ourselves in relation to our self-love and how it is reflected in our relationships. We will also receive tools to better navigate our personal correction according to the element of our zodiac sign.
