Leading with Humility: The Hilulah of Moses

Kabbalah teaches that the Light of a righteous soul is so great that even after they leave this world, their Light remains. On the anniversary of a righteous person’s death, we have the ability to connect to their souls’ Light, a powerful energy that can assist us in our own lives. A kabbalist’s hilulah reminds us of the responsibility that comes with deepening our spirituality, and the merit to access and apply the wisdom of Kabbalah in our lives. On the death anniversary of Moses, we have the opportunity to draw the energy of humility, especially when it comes to leadership. In this seminar, we will explore lessons from Moses' life that illuminate the qualities of humble leadership, and what this form of leadership looks like in action. An interactive workshop will follow this insightful lecture, allowing students an opportunity to personalize and internalize new understandings.
