The Second Spring - Menopause as Transformation
For generations, menopause has been spoken about primarily through the language of loss.
Loss of fertility. Youth. Energy. Sexuality. Even, at times, femininity itself.
And when your body, emotions, sleep, relationships and sense of self begin to change, it's easy to wonder: What's happening to me? Who am I if I'm no longer the woman I used to be?
But what if menopause isn't asking you to become the woman you were? What if it's inviting you to discover the woman you're becoming?
In Kabbalah, a woman represents Malchut - the vessel that receives in order ultimately to reveal Light. Much of a woman's earlier life can be spent creating, caring, building, giving and responding to the needs of others. Midlife can bring a very different spiritual question:

In this special God Wears Lipstick session, Mali Mizrahi will explore menopause and perimenopause through the whole woman - body, mind and soul.
We'll look at the physical changes taking place and ways to support the body through this transition, while going deeper into the emotional and spiritual transformation that can accompany it.
