Shabbat Va'etchanan: Honoring Karen Berg

Kabbalists view Shabbat (the Sabbath) not as a day of rest, but of intense spiritual work and connection. From sunset Friday evening through Saturday night, the kabbalists revealed a system of prayers, songs, meals and reading a portion of the Torah that provide us with the Light and nourishment that cleanses our ego and helps us to manifest our potential.

As Karen’s Day of Elevation takes place on Thursday, July 23, we have chosen to dedicate this Friday night dinner to connecting with the Light, teachings, and spiritual lineage of Karen.
Together, we will share stories, teachings, and memories of Karen, opening our hearts to connect with her endless Light and the profound impact she continues to have on our lives and our community.
