To support Kabbalah students from LA and NY in need of financial assistance
In remembrance of our dear student and cherished Kabbalah Centre New York community member, Fredda Elzweig, a scholarship fund has been created in her honor to enable students under financial hardship access to the spiritual teachings of Kabbalah.
It was Fredda’s wish upon leaving this physical world to create a lasting impact for others to benefit from Kabbalah’s transformative wisdom, just as she did. As her teacher and friend, Yehuda Ashkenazi, reflected, “Fredda had a heart of gold—pure, generous, and deeply kind. Her presence uplifted those around her, her care for others was unwavering, and her support was felt by many. She truly embodied the path of the ‘lev tov’—the good heart that encompasses all the virtues: seeing the good in others, being a loyal friend, a supportive neighbor, and someone whose intentions were always aligned with a higher purpose. We are better because we knew her. We are stronger because of her faith. And we are inspired to continue walking the path of the good heart, in her merit.”
With the creation of the Fredda Elzweig Scholarship Fund, The Kabbalah Centre will carry out Fredda’s wish of subsidizing introductory Kabbalah 1 and other in-person courses held at the Los Angeles, CA and Manhattan, NY Kabbalah Centre locations for those who would otherwise be unable to attend. This legacy is a beautiful example of putting the Kabbalistic wisdom into practice, sharing with others - especially those you don’t know or would directly benefit from. Through her generosity, the Light Fredda awakened with her love, actions, and open heart will live on. Her impact will create a lasting ripple effect in the lives of those who receive a scholarship, or attend a subsidized class, and all whom they in turn share with.
Our wish is for Fredda’s soul to be bound in the bundle of eternal life, and may we carry her memory as a blessing in everything we do. May all those who benefit from the Fredda Elzweig Scholarship Fund experience the life-changing transformation, elevated consciousness, and embodiment of love that Fredda so passionately exemplified.
