One of the most anticipated aspects in astrology is the conjunction between Saturn and Neptune at zero degrees in Aries. But as the two get closer and closer at this critical degree, these two planets also go into retrograde in Pisces. And like every retrograde, it’s a second chance for us to finish what we started.
Saturn and Neptune are the ultimate odd couple. Stern, structured Saturn is the karma planet of the solar system; it makes sure we stick to the path. This is also the planet associated with maturity and wisdom. Your Saturn return, which happens every 28-30 years, is an astrological rite of passage that’s all about maturing into your grown-up self. Spiritual Neptune, on the other hand, is fluid and transformative. As the planet of illusions and the subconscious, Neptune helps us get into a meditative and spiritual state of mind.
So, how can you turn this cosmic duet into personal magic? By putting structure (Saturn) behind your dreams (Neptune). While these planets are retrograde, we have a chance to roll up our sleeves and do the behind-the-scenes work. Neptune will stay retrograde in Pisces from October 22nd to December 10th. Saturn will stay retrograde in Pisces from September 1st to November 27th. Pisces, the very last sign of the zodiac, is all about endings and transitions. Pisces planets pull us into deep understanding and connection to our soul. So, go easy on yourself if you’re feeling a bit lost or overwhelmed.
It’s important to remember that, at times, we can feel suspended between two worlds, forced to sit through a period of deep searching. On a personal level, anything we can do to stay grounded is wise. Dream big, but build a structure to hold those dreams. Meditate, but also set deadlines for yourself. This is the time when dreams and manifestation are aligned. Every retrograde brings a reminder that we can’t rush the process.
Sometimes the universe needs us to pause, reflect, and recalibrate. You’re just rerouting toward something truer. Don’t miss the opportunity! Saturn and Neptune only meet up in the zodiac roughly every 36 years. This is the time to manifest our biggest goals yet!
