We start the week still in the time of the New Moon—a time of initiation and forward motion. The Moon starts in Leo, in conjunction with Mars, the hot planet. It warms our hearts for good or bad; the choice is ours. We can warm our hearts towards others and awaken unconditional love in the world, or we can become easily angered. The level of pride we experience can increase and become intense during this time. There are two meditations of the 72 Names of God that could assist us: Number 56 to remove anger and Number 12 to awaken unconditional love and open hearts.
On Monday, the Moon moves to the sign of Virgo, and on Tuesday, it will conjunct the South Node. So, if things “go South,” it’s time for us to reflect. Things may not be working as we expected them to, or it may seem like the work is not being done at all. Remember, it is our job to reflect and inject the power of our souls into everything we do.
Jupiter, the planet of blessings and expansion, is in its last 28 degrees of the sign of Gemini before it moves to Cancer—a place of exaltation. We can take advantage of being more sensitive to others and receptive to love. It is also good for real estate. The archetype of Cancer is one of the most beautiful signs. It is a good and patient teacher. Cancers are great caretakers but can close their hearts and become cynical if they get hurt. We can tap into the positive side of Cancer and get the right blessings that are most beneficial for our lives.
The Moon enters Libra on Tuesday night and will be in a position between Saturn and Neptune that brings some intensity. The Moon nourishes the subconscious, representing how we store information in our minds and bodies. Saturn and Neptune together in Aries are strong. Make sure that you’re not creating the wrong movies in your head and that you keep yourself in a grounded place.
As you know, this week, the Moon passes through strong aspects with planets. It is an opportunity for us to enhance our emotional intelligence and learn to restrict. We can learn how to filter which emotions or thoughts we allow into our bodies and souls. Our physical and mental health is connected to the boundaries we set in our lives and how we choose to receive something or not. We often think that accumulating more (whether it is knowledge, information, or material things) will make us happier, but it’s actually our strong boundaries and intentions that bring happiness, joy, and wisdom into our lives.
