Astrology Forecast for the Month of Taurus 2026

The universe sends us messages through the planets. And as the New Moon is the seed of the month, it contains the energy of the entire month—like a capsule.

Usually, the sign of Taurus brings calm and relaxation. Think: a good massage and a delicious meal. But this month, the universe isn’t really offering us that space. Instead, it’s pushing us to become the best version of ourselves.

To my friends who are born under the sign of Taurus, or who have strong Taurus energy in their charts—I apologize. I know you don’t love movement or change, but the planets are bringing us quite the opposite of that comfort.

During this New Moon, there are seven planets in Aries, including Mars, the planet of war and the ruler of Aries. Just before the New Moon, Mars was in conjunction with Neptune, the planet of illusions. This energy asks us: What is your real desire? What are you willing to fight for?

Sometimes we get diverted from our path—caught up in other people’s battles, distractions, or things that aren’t truly aligned with us. We may convince ourselves that it will all be good for us in the end or bring blessings, but instead, we end up drained. Don’t risk wasting your energy by focusing on the wrong things. The world is full of distractions that try to convince us we want them, but not all of them are truly aligned with who we are—and chasing them can drain our energy.

Mercury will be in conjunction with Mars and Saturn in Aries. This can trigger the mind and make the nervous system more sensitive. Breathe. Use the water element to relax, and pause before jumping into action. The journey of Aries is to learn how to invest energy wisely. Sometimes, Aries can give too much in the beginning, then get bored, lose energy, or move on too quickly. This month’s intensity is here to teach us how to focus—how to invest our energy in what truly matters, and in what supports our soul’s purpose.

Wherever Aries appears in your chart, you have an opportunity to strengthen your desire and focus on what is truly right for you.

Venus, the ruler of Taurus, is in Taurus right now, helping to balance some of the fire in the chart. During the New Moon, Venus begins a conjunction with Uranus—the planet of sudden change and breakthroughs. While they are still about 9 degrees apart at first, the conjunction becomes exact around April 24th, just before both move into Gemini. Until then, we have work to do.

Venus is connected to money and relationships. When it meets Uranus, it often signals change—a breakthrough, something breaking down, or a sudden expansion. With money, taking responsibility can open us to new understanding and greater flow. In relationships, this is an opportunity to grow together—but if something isn’t working, it may break apart.

We can choose to work on getting closer and bringing more blessings into our relationships. Sometimes it’s easier to walk away than to build something meaningful. Most romantic movies end when people meet—but real life begins after that. This month is a good time to create connection. Go somewhere special together, plan a dinner, or do something romantic. Relationships need both responsibility and play.

According to the kabbalists, Venus has two sides. There is even a concept called the “shell of Venus,” referring to its negative expression. Since Venus governs love and money, we see how these areas can be either beautiful or chaotic—constructive or destructive. It all depends on how we direct that energy.

Venus moves into Gemini on April 25th for about 30 days. This is a great time to do fun things with a partner—take a class, go to a lecture, travel, or learn something new together. However, Venus in Gemini can also be indecisive. We may question what—or who—we really want. Stay focused on what truly matters and on the relationships that bring the most Light into your life.

Uranus moves into Gemini on April 26th, just before Mercury moves into Taurus. Over the next seven years, as Uranus travels through Gemini, we can expect major changes in communication, transportation, AI, and technology. In the beginning, it’s important to stay grounded, calm, and balanced, as this energy can affect the nervous system.

The Full Moon on May 1st is in Scorpio, opposite the Sun in Taurus. Scorpio energy is deep and intense, and sometimes dark. Be mindful not to hold onto secrets or hidden emotions, because Taurus energy may bring them to the surface. This is a fixed axis, teaching us to let go, listen, and stay open.

This time is also connected to releasing toxins from the body. Support yourself by eating well, exercising, and avoiding substances that can harm you. Just as important: Don’t hold onto toxic thoughts, as they can affect your physical and emotional well-being.

Mercury moves into Taurus on May 3rd. The mind slows down, energy turns inward, and we may feel a sense of calm after the intensity of the previous weeks. The month of Taurus carries powerful healing energy. We can connect to the healer within ourselves—for our own benefit and for the environment. Taking care of your body through movement and nourishment will help restore balance. This is not an ideal time to introduce toxins, as the body is especially sensitive right now.

This month also offers a powerful cosmic window—from the night of May 4th into May 5th. It’s an opportunity to connect to your true desires and your ability to heal the world. Light a candle and invite Rabbi Shimon to support you on your journey.

Taurus is a sign of great power. Wherever Taurus appears in your chart, you have resources. Dig into your superpowers—it may take effort to access them, but it will be worth it.
