A few weeks ago, on July 26, the Lunar Nodes changed signs: the North Node entered Aquarius, and the South Node entered Leo, where they will stay until March 2028. Nodal shifts are huge because, for 18 months at a time, they shift the focus of the whole world to an entirely different energy. The lunar nodes are the only archetypes whose default motion through the zodiac is backward.
In the past 18 months, they have been in Pisces and Virgo, and now that they have reached zero degrees in Pisces and Virgo, they will move to 29 degrees in Aquarius and Leo. The lunar nodes work together as a team that continuously readjusts our karma so we experience what our soul requires and do what our soul needs to do.
Now, in Aquarius and Leo, the focus shifts to the changes set in motion by Pluto in Aquarius and Jupiter in Leo — that being the connection between our individual identity and the collective one. In our natal chart, the Leo-Aquarius axis is a pair of Houses locked in dialogue with each other, working through dynamic polarities. It's a huge spotlight on the tension between the individual (Leo) and the collective (Aquarius). This change of nodes is a significant transformation for each of us and for the world. This window of time is all about readjusting to each other as the energy shifts around us.
