Born and raised in Brazil, João is a seasoned lawyer with additional academic credentials in International Relations, an MBA in Business Management, and a degree in Social Projects and Programs Management. A highly accomplished professional, he serves as a partner and COO at Mais Diversidade Consulting and is the Executive President of the +Diversidade Institute (+Diversity Institute.) Recognized for his influential work in Diversity & Inclusion, João received the Out&Equal WorkPlace Advocates Award for Excellence. His extensive career includes senior consultancy roles for global giants such as IBM, Heineken, Microsoft, and many more. He also co-hosts the DiversiTalk Podcast and mentors executives in D&I, speaking at numerous events worldwide.
João’s journey with Kabbalah began around 2014 when a friend's introduction to The Kabbalah Centre marked a profound turning point in his life. He had been seeking spiritual fulfillment and found that the teachings of Kabbalah provided him with a true sense of purpose, transforming his professional and personal life, sharpening his relationships, and bringing him inner peace and fulfillment. In 2019, a personal encounter with Michael Berg led to João becoming a teacher at The Kabbalah Centre in Brazil. His passion for teaching stems from his desire to inspire transformation and help students realize their potential and purpose. He particularly loves teaching astrology and is a graduate from the Academy of Kabbalistic Astrology.
João lives in São Paulo where he aims to expand the impact of his consulting firm, the Diversity Institute, and The Kabbalah Centre, believing in their collective potential to create significant positive change in the world.
