This week is the portion of Ki Tisa, which can help us better see illusions in our lives. In a kabbalistic language, it’s called “idol worshiping.” What that really means in modern terms is putting things, people, or ideas on a pedestal while disregarding the Lightforce of the Creator, the source of all our blessings.
This can occur in any aspect of our lives. For example, we can compromise the Light over a job, thinking that the position is the source of Light in our lives. Or we may become blinded, thinking a relationship is the source of our blessings. Or perhaps, we think a doctor’s God-like diagnosis of health can determine the quality of our lives.
When we do this, we are limiting the blessings that can come to us and are compromising the Light that is meant to be revealed in our lives. All aspects of our lives exist as opportunities to express the divine that exists within us.
As this week starts, the astrological chart shows that anger can stop the flow of Light in our lives. Jupiter, Venus, and the moon are in fire signs. On the one hand, this is great for creativity and expression. But on the other hand, anger can come easily, especially when the moon squares Uranus. There is a very “my way or the highway” energy around us, which brings ups and downs.
On Tuesday of this week, Saturn will change signs from Aquarius to Pisces. This extends for the next three years and will bring great shifts. As things change, we try to hold on to what is familiar. Our best course of action is to adapt to the change. Aim to adapt and renew yourself and much growth and expansion will come.
The moon moves to Virgo on Monday for 2.5 days, and there will be a hard aspect with Jupiter and Venus. This aspect places a lot of focus on the liver, which represents anger. Anger is very damaging to the liver, and by working on peace and forgiveness, we can bring healing to our lives. The liver also represents physical matter and, kabbalistically, when we focus too heavily on physicality, there is no movement in our lives.
The moon will also square Mars in Gemini. The moon in Virgo urges us to appreciate our lives and see perfection in a process that seems to be far from perfect. Appreciate your life, see the good, and focus on what you can create and build.
Saturn moves to Pisces, where there are already many planets and a lot of water. This is an opportunity for deep intuition, understanding, and seeing underneath the surface to the other side. Be careful of falling into depression and escapism. Pisces is the last sign of the zodiac, and those born under this sign tend to see the illusion of the physical world. However, in doing so, they risk becoming complacent, thinking, “Why bother to do anything?” Our work needs to be done on the spiritual and physical levels. Through our actions, we can reveal the Light that is hidden inside us.
We have an opportunity this week to combine those two elements together. Our surroundings are here to allow us to become more God-like.
