Hi Everyone! Another really important week starts in lunar Scorpio. Many gifts (and of course some challenges) await us, but hopefully they will create an opportunity for amazing spiritual growth.
This week’s chart opens up with the moon positioned in analytic Virgo. And it is accompanied by a gazillion planets in Virgo, too (Venus, Mars, and Jupiter), all located in the fifth house of the chart, the house of Leo! At the same time, Scorpio energy is slowly amplifying.
Inevitably, when we talk about the house of Leo we have to bring up ego (and drama) issues. Leo is ruled by the sun, and in Kabbalah it symbolizes the giver – the ultimate sharer and life bringer of the zodiac. Our friends, the glorious Leos, encounter many difficulties asking for help! This week we are faced with some uncomfortable truths about our egos and pride. Let’s find out - why now?
The strong Virgo energy (in the month of Scorpio, no less!) is going to bring everything out. Very few secrets can be hidden with sooo much thoroughly Virgo energy appearing in the universe. For example, it’s sometimes really difficult to see the ego in our character. Sometimes it’s obvious. Arrogance, for instance, is easier to spot in ourselves, in the way we speak. But ego can take a more complicated mask – shyness, false humility, even victimhood!
We are opening a real Pandora’s box!
This week, a lot of hidden feelings – even intimate ones – are likely to emerge. We will probably hear ourselves fighting criticism, or defending our ego for just a little longer. We will realize that we are actually trying to disguise or clothe the truth. The klipot (shells or masks, in kabbalistic terminology) really die hard! Similar to vampire legends, when exposed to the sunlight they simply combust!
Many of our hidden thoughts, things we don’t want to admit to ourselves, and that are lying in our subconscious (the deep Scorpio realm), will now be exposed by the sun of Leo and in great detail (moon in Virgo!).
The fact that we can actually see these behaviors is a huge gift!
We cannot heal a disease we don’t know exists! Putting a name on our spiritual “bacteria” will help us greatly in finding the cure. Our real enemies are, in fact, our egos and pride.
Kabbalists wisely ask, Who needs an ego? Is my ego essential for my survival? Do I need to be right all the time? Do I need to let people know about the good I do, how great I am, or how much I know? Actually, quite the opposite! It diminishes the Light to publicize all the good actions we do. This is a great week to plan many secret, positive actions!
So, our plan of attack this week is:
Definitely do not stay home depressed, beating yourself up. No way! This is information we also need to share with loved ones so we can be more effective in putting an end to it! Just allow things to surface, and then expose them. That will get us in a much higher spiritual place.
The second homework assignment is to avoid reacting to criticism, which will prove challenging indeed. First, take a deep breath as if you were going scuba diving. Then, just FLOW. Whatever comes out, even if it puts our egos to shame, is all for the good. Why would we keep rotten merchandise in our closets? Let’s simply clean it up!
It’s highly recommended to meditate on the 72 Name of "revealing the concealed" this entire week, so the Light will be felt all along.
