Here we go again! This week, we enter the cosmic window of Shavuot, which represents the receiving of all knowledge and wisdom. According to the kabbalists, it’s also the cosmic opening of endless continuity and Light.
Let’s examine the state of the constellations this week…
The first significant event can surely be called a universal “flood.” The world’s chart contains no fewer than six water planets and aspects this week! Three planets are in strong Scorpio (Mars, black moon, and MC), and three are still in Pisces. It’s been a while since so much water was present AT ONCE in the cosmos! The week, in fact, begins with a moon in Virgo, Saturn in retrograde motion in Sagittarius, and Jupiter engaged in a beautiful conjunction with the moon. Venus is still very close to the sun in Gemini.
These beautiful planetary positions are about knowledge and peace. Jupiter delivers understanding, wisdom, connecting the dots in our lives, and expanding our emotions. Placed along with the moon and the north node in the eighth house, it also signals the desire for deep internal transformation.
Our first task right now is the most encouraging we’ve had in a while.
This week is about opening our inner selves to life and to others. It’s about learning to trust the universe. Jupiter is the blessing and protector of the zodiac. It is easier to feel the Light within ourselves and others with this significant position.
The first step in our growth this week is the decision to credit others. No more unfounded suspicions. No more doubts about people’s intentions. This week we choose to love, to extend our care to others. Much of our baggage and doubts are very much related to past disappointments. But disappointment only comes accompanied by its soulmate, expectation! In fact, since Mars is still in retrograde motion in Scorpio, it will bring up these disappointments in order for us to correct them. By uninviting expectations, we prevent its other half from entering our life. This week, the ban is on all the expectations!
The unification of Jupiter and the moon will make our souls shine very bright this week. In short, there is no limit to expansion and growth!
The second step is related to the north node. As we mentioned earlier, the north node of the moon occupies a key position this week – the eighth house, which allows us to let go of old beliefs, "the old me," and leave a clean slate for a refined, brighter version of ourselves.
The north Node is connected to our global tikkune. Placed in Virgo, it allows us to see how petty we can be sometimes, and how small details can drive us away from the bigger picture.
This week, every one of us can connect with an incredible energy of new beginnings, depth, and transformation. We can draw this Light into our lives in a more powerful and focused way. We will emerge brand new and ready to flourish, like nature after a good rain!
