Hi everyone! I hope the good homework from last week got you thinking!
This week we are entering a very different atmosphere, since the world’s chart is currently divided into two very different and very unlikely energies. On one hand, there is a strong energy of earth—a big change from the water fountain we've been swimming in for months! And on the other, there is a very predominant energy of air—i.e. Aquarius, emcee of the chart, is in Gemini and Mars is still in Libra.
Wow, how do we reconcile and use such different energies? First of all, Venus is now thankfully direct (in Capricorn), so money and social contacts will be free flowing without a doubt. However, Mercury turned retrograde on February 6th. We know that this creates a lot of misunderstandings to say the least! So care should be taken to think before anything comes out of our mouths!
Our teacher, Karen Berg, always says, “Don’t worry so much about what goes in your mouth, worry about what goes out of it.” So, patience and restriction are on our plan of attack this week. Be nice and stay zen! The best attitude really is to take everything with copious amounts of humor and avoid any serious or heavy chats. It might just complicate everything!
Since so much earth is present right now, the cosmic message is about increased focus and discipline for everyone, regardless of our zodiac sign. We are entering a building stage and we should think seriously about how to construct everything: ourselves, our businesses, our reputations, etc.
So far, so good! However, as usual, there is a little catch…
Einstein very wisely said, “We can’t solve problems by using the same kind of thinking we used when we created them.” In other words, we cannot construct anything unless we break with certain habits and principles from the past which are no longer valid. Let’s pick one behavior we know does not work for us and use the powerful energy of this week to dump it out of the window. Once we do that, we will feel really light and relieved, and serious things will start happening!
Another important point is that Jupiter and Pluto are opposed across the signs of Cancer and Capricorn. This opposition has existed since last summer and will continue throughout the month of June. The essential lesson here lies in the balance between hard work and feelings. We are learning how to speak a bit less and instead, feel the situation. In other words, it’s time to sharpen our intuitions.
Kabbalistically speaking, our intuition is simply a message from our souls. The problem is our intellect and body speak so loudly, we cannot hear our soul anymore! The body says, “I am tired, I am hungry, I need a massage, love me, please, I need to sleep…” The intellect says, “Oh my, what do they think about me? Am I doing OK? Will I be accepted? Can I be loved?” Now let’s face the truth, how many times a day do we hear our body and our intellect whining and complaining? About ninety percent of the time. No wonder we cannot hear our souls!
We are in the first month of Pisces—our souls need to be strengthened, and now is our best shot. Interestingly, another important aspect right now is the square between Jupiter and Uranus and a T- square to Uranus and Pluto. This is an unbelievable opportunity for quick shifts in our lives. What it really translates to is a sudden opportunity that will change our lives. With a bit of desire, things can and will shift amazingly for us this week.
In short, our work for the week is to awaken the desire to build, to feel a lot more and speak a lot less, and to seriously alter our belief systems by recognizing who's talking: our souls, which make up 99% of us, or the rest of us, which in Kabbalah we call the one (but very loud) percent!
The results will be brilliant. Many past mistakes will be corrected this week thanks to all the quick air planets. Remember: seize the day and the opportunity!
