Scorpio may have been a bit of an emotional roller coaster but this week thankfully we enter into a new zone of Sagittarius. We’re not completely out of the woods yet, but things are shifting. We still have 4 planets in intense Scorpio, but slowly, the energy will morph into the jovial month we are anxiously expecting.
As it happens, Sagittarius, is technically the exact opposite of Scorpio. What was said about Scorpio has to be reversed to understand this new lunar month. Where the Scorpio is controlling and tough, the Sag is flowing, in a "whatever!" sort of way. The fiery energy of Sag will gradually enter the cosmos within the next 10 days, slowly downloading in the cosmos the idea that everything is possible!
Happy go lucky and ready-for-anything adventurers in many ways, Sagittarians are renowned for their spontaneity and their caustic sense of humor. Also, often times for their terrible lack of tact and responsibility! The Sag will often wait until the last minute to do things because they want to take a bite out of life at all times, making them also not the most mature of the signs we will ever encounter.
Sagittarians do have great teaching talents because their intellect is very dominant: they are the air of the fire signs – the most intellectual of them. Because of the air component, many Sagittarians have huge issues with commitment in their lives: It’s particularly true for love and relationships.
Needless to say, Sagittarians think they already know everything you are about to tell them. That’s why they don’t make such great listeners, and are much more at ease in the sphere of the intellect rather than the one of emotions. At the same time, they can be very excited at every new concept and learning opportunity. They usually own complete bookcases of self-improvement books. We call them the “spiritual surfers” of the zodiac. Unfortunately, they often lack the patience to pursue their studies till the end, and just roam the surface of all kind of topics.
Their honesty might be fluctuant: Not every Sag is as honest as we might think. Some are great gamblers and very clever thieves and swindlers! Many are fearless adventurers and great sportsmen, and are easily recognizable by the way they walk, always with a target and always in a hurry!
Gifted with laughing and childlike eyes, it is often difficult to resist them. Their drive will always be the challenges of life. They feed on impossible missions and some are real adrenaline junkies.
Ruled by gigantic Jupiter, there is no measure or balance: The planet of growth will push them to always do everything in excess: drinking, eating ,dating, working, having fun, gambling… the kabbalistic concept of ‘central column’ and balance sounds super boring to them!
Their physical weaknesses are the thighs, tendons and muscles, which they always pull, as well as the liver. They can be very angry people when not getting their ways.
Better consultants or free lancers than employees, they often choose careers as intellectuals or journalists fighting for great causes. Many photographers were born are born under that sign because of their very sharp eyes, and their great love for travel.
What a great energy to download this New Moon! So what's our homework this week? Since Venus and Scorpio are conjunct, many revelations about love and sex are coming out in the cosmos. Personally and globally, we’ve probably just opened Pandora’s box!
As it happens, the Aramaic name for Jupiter, this month ruler, is Tzedek (justice). Simply put, it’s a very important week to reflect on the past times that we have involuntarily wronged people. This is THE moment to make things right. This is a great time to pick up the phone and say: "Wow, I am so sorry. I have made a terrible mistake!"…. Especially since Jupiter is in Scorpio, the unforgiving one, this year. Let’s take a pen and paper and write down the name of someone we need to recreate harmony with, and make the first step.
Our second task, is to train ourselves to see the silver lining in our clouds. This week’s chart is still intense, but it is preparing us for better pastures. This is enough to keep us busy for a while.
